Be fashionable but respect animals!

In inverno la moda propone un'infinità di capi fatti di pellicce e pelli di ogni tipo di animale. Anche quest'anno è un must have e tutte le passerelle hanno visto sfilare modelle con gonne, cappotti e dettagli in questo soffice materiale. Ma io mi chiedo con orrore come possa essere di buon gusto e fashion un capo che prende vita dalla morte di un animale. E mi chiedo ancora di più se chi li compra sa come si fa una pelliccia o se ignori volutamente le modalità di maltrattamento e torture inflitte a questi piccoli e indifesi esseri viventi.
Si perchè è di questo che si tratta: animali scuoiati vivi, tenuti in gabbie microscopiche e tutti ammassati prima delle torture, una crudeltà che non merita nessun se e nessun ma.
Quando guardate e accarezzate un colletto di soffice pelo, pensate che quel pelo è stato strappato letteralmente da un coyote, un furetto, un orsetto lavatore ma non solo! Anche i nostri amatissimi amici a quattro zampe vengono privati del loro manto quando sono ancora vivi, gatti e conigli e qualsiasi "animale da pelliccia". Già..per confezionare capi d'alta moda e non solo, sono diventati animali DA pelliccia, come se fosse naturale servirsi della loro pelle per uno sfizio che non ha nessuna utilità, come se fossero nati per entrare nei nostri armadi.
In winter, fashion proposes an infinity of clothes made by fur and skins of every kind of animal. Also this year is a must have and every runway showed models who were wearing skirts, coat and details made by this soft material. But I ask me in horror, how it could be in good taste and fashion a piece of  clothing that born by an animal's death. And I ask me also if people who buy them, know how is made a fur coat or if they don't know deliberately the method of abuse and tortures inflicted on these small and defenceless living being. 
Because, yes..this is what we are speaking about: animals skinned alive, shut in small cages and all cramed before tortures, a cruelty that not deserves any if and any but.  
When you look at and caress a collar made soft fur, think that that fur was literally pulled out from a coyote, a ferret, a racoon but not only! Our loved four-legged friends too are deprived of their mantle when they're still alive; cats and rabbits and every furry animal. And all this horrible practice  only for a whim that has no utility, like if these animals were born for enter in our wardrobes.

Versace for H&M: thanks God I didn't buy anything!

Versace for H&M in una parola? ORRIBILE. Mesi passati ad aspettare che cosa? Fantasie da circo e colori shoccanti. Ora, io capisco che è stato chiesto ad una grande stilista (che vende un capo allo stesso prezzo di tutti quelli sfornati per H&M) di creare abiti low cost..ma insomma..avrebbe potuto impegnarsi un po' di più, no?
Io davvero non ci trovo nulla di stiloso in palme, cuori infantili e maculato multicolor. E se il mio ragazzo si presentasse a casa con quel completo zebrato credo che dopo essermi ripresa dallo spavento, lo lascerei all'istante!Per non parlare delle scarpette rosa Barbie. Sto ancora rabbrividendo!
Ora immagino che moltissime ragazze staranno pensando che sono una pazza, una che non ne capisce niente di moda..ma chi se ne frega! Io ribadisco che la collezione è tutto fuorchè bella. Se proprio dovessi salvare qualcosa, salverei la linea in pelle. Ma la delusione è talmente tanta che davvero mi sento di bocciare in pieno la collaborazione. E non me ne frega niente se è firmata Versace.
Versace for H&M in one word? HORRIBLE. Months spent waiting for what? Patterns perfect for a clown and shocking colors. Now, I know that it was asked to a great designer (who sells a single article at the same price as all those grinded out for H&M) to create low cost clothing..but hey! She could engage a little bit more, or not?
I really don't find  anything fashionable in palms, childish hearts and multicolor animalier patterns. And if my boyfriend came to my house with that zebra-striped outfit, I think that, after  having recover me from the fright, I would leave him immediately!And what about the pink Barbie shoes? I still have shivers!
Now I can imagine that lots of girls are thinking that I'm crazy, a girl who doesn't understand anything about fashion..but I don't care!I confirm that the collection is all you want but not cool. If I had to save something, I would save the leather clothing. But the disappointment is so much, that I feel up to vote down the collaboration. And I don't care if it's Versace.

A simple outfit for a simple day!

Un po' di giorni fa sono stata a Salerno. Questo è l'outfit che ho scelto per una passeggiata lungo il Corso e il lungomare, tra negozi e la gioia di trascorrere del tempo con chi si ama.
Some days ago I went in Salerno (south Italy). This is the outfit that I chose for a walk on the high street and the promenade, among shops and the joy of spend time with people I love.

Navajo trend.

Vi ricordate il cartone animato Disney "Pocahontas" ? L'ho rivisto l'altro giorno e subito ho pensato ad un post sul trend del 2011. Le trame coloratissime e geometriche movimentano le tinte invernali, solitamente smorte e noiose e gli accessori sfoggiano piume e perline multicolori.
Do you remember the Disney cartoon "Pocahontas" ? I've seen it some days ago and I've immediately thought at a post about the trend 2011. The colorful and geometrical textures, make more vivid the winter colors that are usually dull and boring and the accessories  are made with feather and multicolor beads.

Oh my tights!

Che cosa c'è di più sexy di una gamba fasciata da un collant? Nati nel 1959 ad opera di Allen Grant Sr., i collant hanno subito spopolato anche grazie alla contemporanea diffusione della minigonna. Subito le donne iniziarono a indossarli e non è certo difficile immaginare che gli ometti apprezzarono parecchio la vista delle gambe scoperte!
What is more sexy than a leg with a tight? Invented by Allen Grant Sr. in 1959, tights were immediately all the fashion also thanks to the concurrent mini-skirt diffusion. In no time women started to wear them and it's not hard to imagine that men appreciated quite a lot the sight of bare legs! 

How to make the water rose

Ecco la ricetta per creare a casa un'acqua di rose naturale al 100%.
Here you are the recipe to make at home a water rose totally natural. 


INGREDIENTI:
* acqua distillata
* petali di rosa freschi (circa 10 rose)
* olio essenziale purissimo alla rosa (la trovate in erboristeria ma dovete specificare che è per uso cosmetico)
* vasetti igienizzati e scuri.
Prendete le rose e togliete i petali facendo attenzione a non schiacciarli. Ovviamente per ottenere un prodotto biologico, fate attenzione che sulle piante non siano stati usati pesticidi.
Eliminate la parte biancastra che si trova alla base dei petali e poneteli all'interno di una garza di cotone. A questo punto chiudete la garza con uno spago lungo e immergetela all'interno di una pentola che avrete precedentemente riempito con acqua distillata. Fate attenzione che il sacchetto non tocchi il fondo della pentola.
Ponete la pentola sul fuoco e fate andare a fiamma bassa fino ad ebollizione. Spegnete il fuoco e lasciate la garza in infusione per circa 20 minuti.
Dopo di che prendete il sacchetto e strizzatelo con forza fino all'ultima goccia. Ora potrete aggiungere nella pentola una o due gocce di olio essenziale alla rosa. 
Fate raffreddare il composto e successivamente filtrate in vasetti igienizzati  e scuri.
Il tonico va tenuto in frigo e può essere utilizzato fino a due mesi successivi alla preparazione.


INGREDIENTS:
* distilled water
* fresh rose petals (approximately 10 roses)
* roses essencial oil (you found it in a herbalist's shop, but you have to ask the one for cosmetic use)
* clean and dark pots
Take the roses and remove the petals being careful not to crush them. Obvoiusly, to obtain a organic product, be sure that no pesticides are being used on the plants. Remove the white part at the base of the petals and put them in a cotton gauze. Then close the gauze with a long string and dip it in a pot that you have previously filled with distilled water. Be careful that the gauze doesn't touch the bottom of the pot.
Put the pot on a low flame until boiling. Turn off the heat and leave the gauze steep for about 20 minutes.
After that, take the bag with the petals and squeeze it strongly. Now you can add one or two drops of essential oil. 
Leave the mixture to cool and then strain it into clean and dark pots. 
The water rose should be kept in the fridge and can be used up to two months of preparation.

Lo usavano le nostre nonne ma prima di loro i saggi antichi. Di che cosa sto parlando? Semplicemente del fiore più famoso al mondo: la rosa. I suoi morbidi e profumatissimi petali nascondono proprietà curative che trovavano applicazione in moltissimi campi. Dalla cura di malattie nervose, ai problemi di cuore fino  alla più semplice cura quotidiana della pelle. Insomma..può a tutti gli effetti essere considerata una medicina naturale universale!Potrei stare qui a parlarvi per ore di infusi contro il raffreddore, ricette a base di rosa, rimedi per ferite o semplici profumi per l'ambiente che permettono di rilassare la mente. Ma credo che finirei per spaventarvi con un post troppo lungo perciò mi limiterò a parlarvi del trattamento quotidiano della pelle.
It was used by our grandmothers but, befor them, the ancient wise men. What I'm talking about? Just about the most famous flower in the world: the rose. Its soft and sweet-smelling petals conceal so many properties that it was used in so many different situations: for nervous disorders, heart problems or the more simple daily beauty care. In short..it can be considered to all intents and purposes a universal natural medicine! I could write for hours about infusion against the cold, recipe with roses, cures for injury or simple perfumes for home that let you relax your mind. But I think I'll end up frightening you with a post too long so I limit me to tell you about the daily skin care.

Un bel bagno caldo coccolati da petali di rose. Niente di più romantico! Ma la bella notizia è che non c'è niente di più nutriente per la nostra pelle! Oltre a curare infezioni della pelle, dona una naturale morbidezza all'epidermide: ha ottimi effetti lenitivi, migliora la condizione della pelle secca e previene l'invecchiamento! E se siete troppo stressate..ritroverete la pace! Magari aiutate da una candela profumata e buona musica :)
A good bathing cuddled by rose petals. Nothing more romantic! But the good newa is that there's nothing more nourishing for our skin!In addition to treat the skin infections, water rose gives a natural smoothness to the epidermis: it has excellent soothing effect, improves the condition of dry skin and prevents ageing! Per quanto riguarda la cura del viso, l'acqua di rose è ottima per tonificare e detergere la pelle eliminando tutte le impurità. Si può combattere così la formazione dell'acne, la comparsa di rossori e gonfiori, è utile per contrastare dermatiti e le tanto odiate borse e occhiaie! D'estate può essere usata per lenire il rossore da scottature e per riequilibrare il naturale contenuto di sebo. Applicatela mattina e sera dopo esservi struccate e ogni qualvolta ne avrete bisogno!

For what concerne the face skin care, the water rose is excellent to toner and purify the skin removing all the impurity. You can fight the formation of acne, the appearance of redness and swelling, it helps with dermatitis and reduce the hated bags or shadows under the eyes! In Summer it could be used to alleviate the sunburn redness and to balance the natural skin sebum. Apply it every mornings and evenings after having remove the make up and every time you need it! 

Molti benefici si possono ottenere anche per i nostri capelli: aumenta il flusso sanguigno del cuoio capelluto in modo da permettere ai follicoli di apportare alle radici il giusto nutrimento. Avrete capelli splendidi e profumati per tutto il giorno!
Lots of benefits could be obtained also for our hair: water rose increases the scalp blood flows so that follicles could nourishing hair. You'll have wonderful and perfumed hair all day long!
